Qingdao Xiongya Sea Defense Museum is divided into four exhibition areas: Immigration Origin, Garrison Establishment, Ming and Qing Dynasties Sea Defense, and Folk Customs of Tuntian.
The exhibits mainly include artifacts from the Neolithic Age and the Eastern Zhou period excavated in the Xiongya area, historical data on sea defense, figures, and events of the Ming Dynasty, facilities, warships, and weapons from the Ming and Qing Dynasties, as well as items related to the folk customs, production, and life of the people of Xiongya. Open all year round from 9:00 to 16:30.
